Jeffrey Archer has topped the bestseller lists around the world, with sales of over 125 million copies. Educated at Oxford, he gained an athletics Blue, was President of the University Athletics Club, and went on to run the 100 yards in 9.6 seconds for Great Britain in 1966. Jeffrey has served five years in the House of Commons, fifteen years in the House of Lords, and two at Her Majesty’s prisons. With twelve novels, five books of short stories, three plays (all of which have been performed in the West End, one of them with him in a leading role), three children's books, and three volumes of his prison diaries, he is published in 65 countries and more than 38 languages. He has also written two screenplays, Mallory: Walking off the Map, to be directed by Oscar-winning director, Bruce Beresford, and the screenplay to his novel, False Impression. Jeffrey’s latest book, The Gospel According to Judas, a collaboration with the eminent Australian theologian, Professor Francis J Moloney, was published in March this year.
