Fraud and identity management
Fraud is an evolving and fast growing problem. It is estimated to cost businesses in the UK over £14 billion per year, as well as untold reputational damage, up to one in ten of us have been the victim of identity theft. Fraudsters are organised, persistent and constantly look to exploit weaknesses in an organisation’s processes. Our first presentation looks at the importance of gaining an insight into the minds of the criminals who target your organisation and how we may need to think differently if we are to stop them in their tracks. The other parts of the session cover how a major global retail bank has focused on preventing fraud and how a bank in Russia has engaged Experian in its fraud defence strategy.
